Thanks for your info, some troubleshooting to try:
- Disable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) temporarily: Settings, System, Display, Graphics, Default graphics settings, Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling = Off, then restart.
- Disable NVIDIA Reflex in Apex for one test.
- Disable all overlays/hardware hooks:
- NVIDIA overlay
- EA overlay
- Discord
- Xbox Game Bar
- Lenovo Legion/Toolkit monitoring overlay
- RTSS/Afterburner
- Perform a Windows Clean Boot.
- Try the opposite graphics mode. you have tested dGPU-only. Try switching back to Hybrid Mode and test
Do let us know your results here. Thanks. EA_Barry.

Tried everything you suggested. No change.
- HAGS disabled: still freezes
- NVIDIA Reflex disabled: still freezes
- Overlays: NVIDIA App was already fully uninstalled during a clean
driver reinstall
- Clean Boot: still freezes
- Hybrid Mode: still freezes (had already tested Discrete)
Other things I have already ruled out:
- Clean NVIDIA driver reinstall with DDU
- BIOS updated to latest
- EasyAntiCheat uninstalled and reinstalled
- Full game uninstall and reinstall through the EA app
- Steam file check: 10232 of 10232 files verified
- Frame cap at 120 and at 100
- Borderless window
- Low graphics preset
- Ran on battery only
Hardware is fine. Lenovo's own diagnostics pass on memory, CPU, GPU,
motherboard and storage. Windows memory test also clean. Battlefield 6
runs for hours on the same machine with no problems. Only Apex freezes.
What happens: the whole PC hard locks mid-match. Not a game crash.
Keyboard lights stop responding, so the system is fully dead. No blue
screen, no crash dump. Windows logs dxgkrnl live dumps at codes 0x1A8
and 0x1B8.
System: Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16ARX8, Ryzen 7 7745HX, RTX 4060 Laptop,
16GB DDR5, BIOS LPCN65WW, Windows 11 build 26200.
I have run out of things to try on my end.

For testing purposes, can you check if you have Windows Update KB5121003 installed? If so, please rollback/uninstall that update and then reboot and retry playing. Let us know if this has any effect please. Thank you. EA_Barry.

Removed Windows Update KB5121003, did not fix the issue. Ran the game, waited in the menu 5-10mins, it froze.
