I’m having the same exact issue, started about a week ago but the code net doesn’t even load me into a lobby. I press X to continue but it just buffers till it times out and I get a code net. This sucks I’ve spent money for heirlooms on this profile so if my profile is gone forever what happens? Haven’t played apex in a week because the game won’t load. @EA plz help ps4 user

I forgot to add that I also tried to ask the helpers if I was able to speak with a higher up like a supervisor or manager. But they declined and said that it was not possible, I got one helper to ask the Game Team supposedly ( I think she waited 10 minutes to respond to tell me the same thing ) and the helper said "The Game Team told me to relay the same message onto you that you will just have to wait'. In what other service can you tell a consumer that you have to 'wait' and the wait is 6 days and there is no answer or solution to why you have to wait. I believe I am coming off very rude with my rant but I am very frustrated on the loss of stats I have lost this week. It also seems that I will not be able to play The Season 8 launch tomorrow with the updates I have been receiving on the server ( zero updates btw ). As a day 1 player of this game let me tell you this just hurts my heart because it will be the first season launch that I miss. If anyone else is experiencing this problem, do not waste your time on the EA help forums because it does not seem like they know how to fix this ERROR. Just keep logging onto your account and trying every couple of hours. In the mean time create an alternate account because it does not seem like they have an official date on this server fix.

I have been having an error for the last week now (Tuesday 8:30PM EST) every time I go to load into Apex from the main menu, I get a black screen for about 30 seconds then ERROR "Connection to server timed out. Check Ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information" It is honestly sad at this point that I have that message memorized. I have contacted EA help like it says to do 10+ over live chat and 5+ times over the phone, they tell me to do a bunch of troubleshooting solutions that have not been successful. These troubleshooting solutions have been; restarting my internet router, switching from LAN connection to Wireless, switching to a different internet connection, uninstalling Apex then reinstalling Apex, switching NAT types, IP Addresses. None of this has been successful whatsoever. The craziest thing though is I am able to play on alternate accounts no problem, they don't seem to have an answer to this other than 'it can affect 1 account on a hardware but not others' which to me sounds crazy. The only reason I have been stubborn to these kind people the last week is because I care deeply about this game and put a lot of time and effort into it. I have lost out on 1000+ kills and 100+ wins as well as not being able to push in ranked and being stuck at Diamond 3, when my goal was Master. This 'ERROR' has made that unachievable for me. After spending an hours on chat or the phone with the EA helpers they end up just telling me "Other people around the world are having the same problem and you will just have to wait for it to be fixed" that is fine the first day or two but we are now on day 6 and there has been no resolution. In my mind they don't know how to fix this problem or they are just not telling me something. I could care less about the money I have put into this game but the time and dedication I have put to keep myself high on the leaderboards this season was basically taken away from me for absolute no reason, and when I ask for a reason or help to fix it I get told to try stuff for an hour then eventually just get told "I have to wait for it to be fixed" which I am absolutely tired of hearing. I praise this game and absolutely love it, I spend most of my days playing it which I have not problem with. Please if anyone is reading this I would love some help and attention to this. Thank you

@EA_Kent Kent, I think I am speaking for everyone who even needs to look at this reply thread. We are not 'bearing' with you, we are not happy with the 'help' we have received with our (code:net) ERROR because guess what? We have received 0 help, the only thing that is on the EA teams mind right now is making money from this new season. There are no help post on reddit, twitter or even this Answer HQ. You guys have no idea how to fixed the problem and instead of saying that you are ignoring all of the loyal players who are having this problem. I am a day 1 player and I am sure a lot of people who are having this problem are also day 1 players. We feel cheated and scammed from all of our time, effort, and money put into this game. For the only response to be 'I'm sorry I don't have more details on this' it is very clear that your game team has no clue how to fix this problem or that they don't want it to be fixed for whatever reason. So thank you for your 'help' but tons of players now are going to be missing out on Season 8 on their mains because of this unfixable Error. All I have to say Kent that your loyal consumers are not happy with what is going on and the lack of help we are receiving.

@EA_Kent Thanks homie, I know tensions get high dealing with people who have this amount of time and money invested in their accounts and you are all just trying to do your jobs. At the end of the day it’s just a game and I’m sure everything is being done to repair the issue. The only thing that has worried us all is how an issue of this degree has basically been left unknown to the public, when people don’t know what’s going on they jump to conclusions! To help alleviate emotions getting too high, get Respawn to have more direct customer service or at least be able to give the players affected by issues this large an explanation to what’s going on. People for the most part are very understanding, they just want transparency.

@Objunior21 Hope everyone has fun watching the streamers play the anniversary event these next two weeks! That’s the closest we are going to get to playing it ourselves! Two weeks of not being able to play, it’s almost like the Game Team doesn’t know how to fix their problem!

@Objunior21 But hey, you can just play on another account! They aren’t going to do anything for us, they can’t even give us a decent response. They made over A BILLION DOLLARS on micro transactions in games that don’t work and that they don’t update. They do not care about us as customers.

Yep, I’ve been getting this since updating to season 8, it finally was working yesterday then it stopped again and now I keep getting code net and code leaf which means it’s an error on EA’s behalf, not mine.
I keep getting rubberbanded, stuck in place, disconnected. It’s to the point where I can no longer even remain in the lobby for more than a minute before I’m back to the homescreen. I’ve spend hundreds of pounds on this game now, and I’m getting sick of the constant disconnecting. If I’m paying money on this game, I expect to be able play it.
It’s absolutely ridiculous at this point. Hopefully it gets fixed soon and we don’t have to experience this again.

What I’ve learned these last two weeks from dealing with all of this is that EA is only focused on 1 thing and that’s money. They knew players were going to spend lots of money the first 2 weeks of this season so they prioritized making that aspect good but not caring about the state of the game. What I have learned from being on Twitter, Reddit and this HQ answers page is that the fan base could care little to none about the new skins and season but care more about the servers crashing, not being able to hear in CP, SBMM, etc. If you go to any reply thread on the apex Twitter most of it is players telling them to fix the servers or fix another type of bug. Like I said EA only cares about the money and nothing else, I don’t even think I’ll be able to play this anniversary event on my many account. Which sucks because of the time I’ve put into this game, but EA does not seem to care one bit. This post probably won’t get a reply from an Ea worker till next Monday or something.

@Objunior21 I have been having this issue with the game for the first time in my two years of playing this game. I keep getting code: net since last night. It usually fixes itself after the second attempt, but now it’s been well over 12 hours and being a dedicated player such as yourself I throughly dislike having to make a secondary account to play. I have spent too much time and money to have to be forced to play on an alternate account without all of my cosmetics, and legends is downright unacceptable.

@kondimentkween yeah there's so much rubber banding, it feels like im playing on drugs. just now i tried to revive my teammate and it took me like 6 times because my character wouldn't stay still. wtf

Same here man, I’m thinking of starting a small claims lawsuit if this isn’t fixed in a timely manner. Sure we can make a second account but that doesn’t fix the problem. Some of us put loads of time and money into this fun game so to now be unable to access our purchased content is unacceptable. Heirlooms and skins aren’t cheap. It’s going on a month or so and i still cannot access my account because of code net. Please fix this before multiple law suits come your way.

@YoungSkywalker93 I was thinking of doing something along the same line. It’s been almost 3 weeks for me and I have not received any help on this situation. EA has proven that they only care about money and not about their loyal fan base. I’m not an expert on game design or whatever it takes to run a server but I think if the people who are trying to fix knew what they were doing it would have been fixed by now. I’ve put hundreds of dollars and well over 10,000 hours into this game and for it to be taken away in the blink of an eye is complete *. I am furious at EA or Respawn whoever’s fault it is because this is beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. But me complaining won’t do anything cause EA probably won’t respond to this message.

I also want to add I’ve put in my own complaint on this forum and it was deleted. I contacted the EA Help Twitter on Saturday they got back to me at 4 am this morning then closed the ticket at 7am because I didn’t respond.. I guess people don’t sleep at those hours?
