Apex Legends crashes with no errors on startup - a new important clue

I'm writing following the instructions of ea technical support assistant. There is a new important clue about the crash at start, I mean the autoclose of the game with no errors at start (just after the first blackscreen with red little logo of apex).


At moment:

1) The game sometimes works, sometimes (often) has this trouble: the game closes at start with no errors, just after the the blackscreen with red logo. Once this trouble happens for the first time in a day, the trouble persists for a long duration (1h--->24hours, random duration).

2) During this time, my account will produce this trouble on all Personal computers I try, also in different house with different connection (also if you try in a pc where apex is regularly played but this trouble never happened). You can try uninstall, or follow all ea guidelines, nothing changes. If you try other accounts on my pc, during my account in this bad status, they will work correctly (but I think they're vulnerable to occur in this trouble too)

3) After 1-24hours, randomly, the trouble solves himself (but is always ready to occur in this issue again).

So, the important new information is that is not an hardware related, or at least, not completely. Is an account issue, probably caused from some clients interacting with servers, but the trouble persists on ea servers.
The techical support requested me to post here, hoping other users can notice to belong to this issue and claim the attention of developers.

The tehnical support added that is no sharing account behavior if you limit this to this test (if any moderator doubts of this, read my chat log with ea technical suppot first).


I really hope this new info can provide a faster solution and let us all to play with no issues.

  • The error happened today again - i asked my brother (who lives in a different state) if i can try his account... and it worked. I'm 99% sure it's account related. My brother couldn't login with my account.

    Yeah, since the time i compiled this post the only way to play for me is having a second account, to use during the "unavaible time" of the first : \. Luckly never happened this trouble with 2nd too, but since the game is free you can make 3rd etc. (i don't know if is allowed, but atm this is the solution). Certainly, I did not buy the battlepass cause half levels I was achieving on 2nd account : \

    Sorry. I stopped to play regularly from months. By the way I played some games weeks ago with no issues (but not many so nothing is sure).

  • If someone of your friends playing Battlefield or Jedi Fallen Order. That can be the issue. Try to remove them from FL and try again.

    I've been struggling with this error for the past 5 days, tried everything and only your solution or the 24hours wait worked.
    Will try another time if it does the same bug, just to see if it was timing.

    That actually helped!

    I have no idea how those things are connected, but as soon as I removed a person playing Fallen Order from my friends, I was instantly able to start Apex.
    Previous 5 or so attempts were unsuccessful.

    What some are seeing when not allowed to log in due to client being ran already. This is my post earlier i made. The anti cheat even if you close origin etc all together is still running. You have to open task manager clear the anti cheat task reload into game. Why this is happening no clue but works for me every time.
