Apex Legends crashing and closing itself

I am a new player trying to play Apex Legends for my first time but the game won't even get past the starting loading screen..... there is no error code or anything, it just closes itself completely?? Every time after I send the verification code to verify during the register screen, the game just closes itself out. Can anyone help?
