Click the Continue button on bottom and at the same time spam Esc on your keyboard. Do it as many times as needed to get the EXIT TO DESKTOP button to appear. After you successfully exit with that button and come back, it will work.
This does get you back to game, though should have been dealt with by now by the amount of people reporting issues.
