Black screen after title screen

I can't get past the title screen after today's update it just goes to a black screen with the title music playing in the background. Occasionally I might get through to the main menu but then I get removed back to the title screen with the message "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication." Ive tried restarting my PC, validating files on steam, reinstalling/repairing the EasyAntiCheat nothing helped. 

• What platform are you playing on? PC, Steam
• Origin ID / Gamertag / PSN Origin ID is: CurleyBruh, Steam name is Joe Hendry
• What were you doing leading up to the issue? Nothing, just tried launching the game after this mornings update on the 08/04/2025.
• Can you reproduce it? What are the steps? Yes 80-90% of the time I launch the game and press my mouse button to continue past the title screen it goes black and I hear the menu music.
• PC players - provide hardware specs, OS version and GPU driver version.
