Cannont unlink my steam account

What if that steam account is deactivated? Can I link another then?

Ok, so i had a steam account which was deleted/deactivated way back, used to play Apex Legends, say. The Origin account associated to it had all of my other games too. With my current steam account I have purchased Battlefield, say, then I need to create new EA Account just to be able to play battlefield? Rubbish!
Why am i not unable to unlink my associated steam account from Connections tab on the EA App? Why is it not visible there?

Again, it's because an EA account can only ever be linked to one of a specific type of account in its lifetime. If you look at the article I linked above:

When you link accounts, it creates a lifetime link to protect you from malicious activity and help prevent performance issues in your games.

You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as that EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before in its lifetime.

That means if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to it in the future.

I understand that making a new EA account for you to link your Steam to it isn't ideal, but it's the best advice I have.

I have an Active Steam account, however, it got hacked, and I was able to recover the account. Since then, a foreign EA account, linked itself to my steam account, I cannot link my actual EA account to my steam account, until the foreign EA account is removed/unlinked.

I have no way to access the Foreign EA account, nor provide details to it, other than the attached, when I attempt to link my current EA account.
Please don't refer me to support as I have logged 2 tickets previously, and they can't help.
