cant download the game

one of my other games uses anti cheat if I delete it will it effect my other games?

No, you can just repair the game and it will pop back up if you have any issues

if it does effect other games how do I repair it?

As i said you just repair the game your having the issue with.

Ive removed the EAC from Apex before and the game simply wont load.

You simply just repair the game to restore it.

If the EAC is with the game files of the other game it should not affect it.

EDIT: sorry, you right click the game in origin and click repair.

there is no appdata in my c:\users file

also one of my other games since I deleted anti cheat does not work this is slightly worrying me as this is my favourite game.

I think so because it said I couldnt

As i said just open origin.

Right click the game.

Select repair game.

Wait for it to finish and it should be fine.

Check for updates with the game also.

When you went here: C:\ProgramData\

you said "electronic arts origin isn't on program data"

Electronic arts and origin are seperate folders.

Did you think that was the whole folder name or you just missed the commer in this comment?

I don't think so I have just checked my appdata folder and there is no electronic arts

to be honest at this point I would be fine if my other game using anti cheat would work, should I uninstall and reinstall it on steam?

What game is it?

Edit: You can jump into your recycling bin, right click the EasyAntiCheat files and choose restore.

this will bring back the EAC files.

Ahh steam.

Just for future refrence you open steam and right click the game in the list to the left.

goto local files and click the button.

Steam has a different name for it xD

Sorry i could not get it to work, usually removing the relevent files and redownloading fixes it. 🤔
