CODE NET
I just got new Wi-Fi and I’m trying to play the only game I really like nowadays but I can’t and I keep getting code net every minute or so even connected to the Ethernet. This makes literally no sense I have better Wi-Fi from what I had before but that was playing better than what I have now. I’ve talked to the representatives for the internet and they are saying it’s fine on their side so I’m coming to check out this side to see if things are okay. I’m just trying to play my game but I keep getting DC’d for what reason? Can someone explain please
Hi @Kingwavyy139 When you have a moment can you try the following?
- Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
- Verify you signed into your PSN account
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open your PS5 NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
Thanks!
