Continue button does not appear like it should

When I open apex legends on steam, the usual continue button that should appear does not. So I am stuck in the loading screen you first see when you open the game.

    @EA_Atic I play apex on steam PC. The problem is fixed now, i just had to wait for an hour or so.

        I’ve waited for a day or so and it still hasn’t fixed, what do i do?
