Crash to desktop information

Hello fellow Legends!

This post is mainly for the Dev's as the information in it pertains to my system configuration

and possibly others as well.

We are all aware that Apex has some bad crashing to desktop with zero error

issues, iv'e gone through the various troubleshooting and "fixes"

and so far none have fixed the problem.

my system..

Windows 10 pro x64 currently up to date.

FX-6300 Six core cpu

AMD RX 560 4GB

MSI 990FXA Gaming Mobo

16GB Gskill ripjaw

Sooo iv'e tried the sound thing where you stop and re start the sound service,

did not work, played two games, third one crashed.

Iv'e tried the disable two of the six cores of the FX 6XXX CPU's it didn't work

played three games then crashed, I even tried disabling different cores(5 & 6, 3 & 4)

with the same end result.

So far the best I can get is maybe two or three games before a crash with my

game set to borderless window@ 1366x768, if I go fullscreen at all, it will dureing the first

or second game, sometimes the third.

Even though at all resolutions before the crash the game itself runs smooth

and framerate is good.

One thing I have noticed is that whenever the game is running

my Microsoft Software Protection Platform service is taking up

roughly 30% of my CPU and maintaining that even though the game

itself maybe is sitting at 7% usage.

I'm sort of wondering if there is a conflict with this service, the game

and certain CPU's.

Also here is a windows log error of the crash(if it helps)

    Hey Blueberry,

As stated near the beginning of my post I mentioned I tried the sound service

    fix plus tried it again.

No this does not work for me.

Have you tried deleting Discord and/or Afterburner off your system before launching the game? What I quoted below was just shared from our Community Crashing Troubleshooting Guide

Wanted to share what helped me.

I had tried almost everything in this guide but nothing helped.
I changed my screen refresh rate from 144 to 85 and it fixed the issue!
    Hope it helps someone out.

None of those helps at all.

My monitor is capped at 60Hz, tried OCing it and put it to 75Hz and 85Hz

with no effect on it at all, still results in crashing.

I have discord on my PC but it's pretty much never open because I never really use it,

Afterburner I do use but I shut it off for testing and it still ended up crashing.

So far every "fix" I have tried and thus far no good results.
