Cross progression Stats + Heirloom pity timer

Firstly, why are we not able to choose our primary account? So basically all my pc stats will be deleted just because my 2 year old Xbox account is barely higher level. Thanks, cannot wait to have my 2kd replaced with a 0.8kd and all damage badges lost.

Secondly, there is no mention of the heirloom pity timer. How will this work with merger accounts? I have spent money on both accounts for packs and I would like that to not be down the drain. I understand this in particular is not a hugely talked about topic and maybe not so important but I feel it needs answering as this is important. I only really buy packs when I can (bundles etc) in the interest of getting closer to an heirloom.

I believe the approach to stats not at the very least merging or not even being able to choose the primary account you want aswell as various other things not being mentioned and practically ignored is a very lazy approach for such a longly awaited feature.
