CROSSPLAY FRIENDS NOT WORKING
Two days ago when me and my friends played, crossplay worked completely fine. Now it's not.
I play on PC (Steam), they play through Xbox. It will not display their names to me at all to invite them.
THE STEPS I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN:
-Restarted the game. 10 times, to be exact.
-Restarted my whole entire system. Also 10 times to be exact.
-Searched their names exactly on the friends list. It shows that they are already on my friends list, but I cannot invite them to a game at all.
-Verified that my crossplay is on through the game settings, as well as have my crossplay friends verify that their crossplay is on as well.
-Chatted with live chat, who confirmed that nothing is wrong with my account and everything is in good standing.
Disappointing that I cannot get a solid answer. You'd think a multi billion dollar company would be better at communication with their community. Live chat did not help either, they have no idea what is going on. Go to the Apex subreddit and you'll see people complaining about the same issue. So what gives, Respawn? EA? Gonna keep your community in the dark about this or just have people shovel more money for skins into a game they can't even play with their friends? I'd expect a quick answer, but it's EA. Guessing I'll get an answer in the next few months about this when I've already uninstalled the game.
