DisplayName field missing from registry error?

Hi all,

Been playing Apex via Origin (not a Steam version)on PC for ages with no problem and suddenly today I'm getting this message. Entering my Origin email and Password doesn't seem to work, nor does the solution at the link below. Never had any issues with this game before. Help?
