Does crossprogression count if i launch apex with the ea laucher?

So i am logged in my ea account that i used on my ps4, and i was wondering if i still get crossprogression if i launch it via the ea launcher?

I allways launched apex on my pc via steam but since its impossible to link my steam to my ea because its says its linked with a other account but i don't remember that.

NOTE: I have never launched apex via the ea launcher itself.

Any help?
