EA - Constant High Pings After Crossplay - Submitted Cases - EA Support Mistakes

Hello EA,

I truly hope you're going to read this! Your Support team has been really making a mess, and for just one simple support request I submitted, that case ended up getting closed by mistake, then the second support person I contacted to explain all this didn't seem to understand English very well and dragged out that case for almost an hour because he couldn't seem to follow simple questions and instructions. All in all this took me almost 2 hours and I still don't know if it's all fouled up.

Case numbers; #83922665 #83918576 and #83918576

#83918576 is the original that got fouled up and now says; 'waiting on player' 

Rhetorically why does that case now say waiting on player, waiting for what? I've already explained this to two support staff for 2 hours and they still don't get it? Seriously this is ridiculous.

BOTTOM LINE, since the introduction of Cross Play the Ping has jumped up on average more that 50MS and it has changed since the introduction of Cross Play, ever! There's nothing I can do about it, I live far from the servers, I've always had high pings, but never this high! I've been playing this game since the beginning, I'm Level 500 and from the beginning  of when Apex first started out, my average pings have been 70ms-80ms. I also have a little over 2500 hours to speak with some level of understanding here, for the extreme amount of game time I have in Apex to know what is going on, and now, my average pings are 100ms-130ms, sometime hitting and staying at 140ms.

Salt Lake City when it came online, FACT, the average pings from that server since the beginning was 70ms, now it's on average 120ms-130ms, this has nothing to do with me!

How do you expect when very good players are on only 30ms-40ms ping, I'm going to compete against them on 100ms-130ms, it's rarely going to happen that I am going to come out alive.

PING IS KING and the Ping in this game since Cross Play is really bad.

EA I'm not here to give you a hard time, but SERIOUSLY can we please get the Network performing better, especially for people that live in remote far away places in the world from the servers?

If you can never change this situation, then maybe in the very near future hopefully, you can match us up with other high ping players.

Go look at my Account, you'll see 2527 hours as I type this Level 500, and the game has really become difficult to play. I don't suck at FPS games, Apex just makes it very difficult to play and this is really frustrating to be at my Level and Hours and still struggling to play, really sad. ☹️

    Every few games, I can't tell you how many before I see a change, but at some point I will see the servers give me a 65-70ms in game ping, showing that the issue is not on my end, otherwise if I had a network issue, or a bad/slow connection, then the pings would never improve.

    If EA isn't going to fix this issue, the only thing I can do is quit each time I join a game with high pings, restart the match and wait till I get a game with better pings. I'm sorry EA, but trying to be competitive with 100ms-120ms isn't going to work, 65ms-70ms is bad enough, I won't play any higher.
