EA Javelin Anti-Cheat
Hi Respawn & EA Team,
I’ve been playing Apex Legends since day one. Over the past 5+ years, I’ve put nearly 6,000 hours into this game, supported it financially, and stuck through every meta shift, bug, and balance patch. Apex is my favorite competitive game, but right now, I am completely unable to play it.
Ever since the transition to the EA Javelin Anti-Cheat, launching the game causes severe system-level instability. My game freezes on the loading screen, loops audio, and triggers a complete kernel panic / hard system crash (rebooting the PC).
This isn't just a minor glitch or a game crash to desktop—it is a critical system conflict caused by EA Javelin's intrusive kernel-level integration conflicting with legitimate system driver and security software.
What makes this extremely frustrating is the irony of the situation:
Legitimate, dedicated players are being punished. Day-1 veterans and players on managed or secured machines are completely locked out or risking hardware stability.
Cheaters are still everywhere. Scrolling through Reddit and watching high-rank games, it's clear the cheating community bypassed or adapted to Javelin almost immediately.
It breaks my heart to be forced away from a game I’ve dedicated thousands of hours to, not because I lost interest, but because a broken anti-cheat implementation refuses to run safely on legitimate setups.
Please address these driver-level conflicts and system crashes in an upcoming update. We need an anti-cheat that stops actual cheaters, not one that alienates your most loyal player base.
Thanks for reading.
