Easy Anti Cheat launch issue? (both EA and Steam)

Hi, I have recently just reinstalled apex after having not played for a few years. When attempting to launch the game I cant seem to get past the Easy Anti Cheat launcher when u first select play (im having this issue with both EA and Steam). I have attempted to reinstall, run as admin etc etc... however nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this before?
