Apparently EA thinks they can raise our kids better than we can?
After all these years (same issue with Battlefront 2), I cannot believe they still haven't fixed this garbage.
if that were the case then I wouldnt be having the same issue with my son, i have literally just made him an EA account with an adult DOB, his Xbox account is a child account that i have made completely unrestricted now and we are having the same problem
I have an old EA account linked to mine which is for when I had a PSP. I'm wondering if I can delete that account and link my sons new account to mine (his DOB on that account makes him 37). We got him a ps4 for Christmas and with all the hassle we had before with age restrictions I made sure he was way over 18.
I don't think it has anything to do with the DOB on the EA account as I have already looked in to this and remembered that I had a similar problem a few years ago which resulted in me creating a brand new EA account for him with a different DOB and an email address that matched the one used for his XBL account. Besides, linking Gametags and EA accounts is another nightmarish topic (because it doesn't look like you are really linking your gamertag to your EA account but rather.. the gametag of the person whose XBL Gold subscription you are using to the EA account).
My Gamertag / XBL account <--> my EA account
His Gamertag not linked to his EA account and no way to do this.
I tried one of the other workarounds mentioned for this problem and revoked the Xbox One access from my EA account, then got him to download the FIFA demo (I guess any EA game where you have to sign into your EA account will do) and when he tries to sign in, it always pops up with my email address linked to my XBL account and he can't enter his own.
But when you revoke access to your XBL account in your EA settings, doesn't that prevent you from being able to play Apex (or any EA game) using your adult account??
How do you verify your account
Yo sa m’énerve sa ne marche avec se truc 104
That isn’t true I have two identical accounts sharing my main profile one works one doesn’t
Hello! This is quite strang and multiple problems have happened like this. What I suggest is to either change his child account settings or try re-installing Apex Legends on your platform.
