i unfortunately ran into the same issue as well. being in pa also have xfinity. i found apartial solution is cloudflare if you're on pc. it stopped my packet loss on ranked. it seems to only work when i use the traffic and dns (udp) option. however ive noticed a few times when playing with friends that it eventually doesn't let you load into the games but ur tm8s in ur lobby do. still trying to find a solution that isnt cloudflare or switching my network provider.
Hey, thanks for your reply! I've felt like a total crazy person trying to figure this out. I have been considering trying a VPN or something to play on PC, but I had similarly heard that it wasn't a solid solution. Maybe I'll give it a try though - I appreciate you sharing your experience. I did contact Xfinity and got a sympathetic reply that was basically, "I can't find a problem with your connection. The problem seems to be EA's servers. We recommend you contact them to address this." I wish I had an ISP alternative. And, well, we all know how EA is. Anyway, good luck to you. Fingers crossed they see this or patch the issue soon.
