False Positive Ban：Client shows account banned, Penalty History empty

I just got my first Heirloom after recharging. I have invested time and money into this account, so I sincerely hope this false restriction can be lifted and I can keep playing normally.

It's odd that your penalty history is completely empty if there's a ban on the account. I have a few questions, if that's ok:

1. Do you play via the EA app, or via Steam?
2. Have you already raised a number of appeals in the past?

I play Apex through Steam‑PC. I launch the game from Steam, and it will start the EA App automatically.

This is my very first appeal. I have never submitted any appeals for this account before.

There are zero entries on my penalty history page, yet I’m blocked from entering the game. I just got my first Heirloom on this account and I have made in‑game purchases. I really hope you can help me check this false‑positive restriction.

Please tell me what other information you may need.

If you play on Steam, can you log in here with your EA account and let me know if you see your Steam account linked? If not, then it's possible that you have a different EA account with us that your Steam is linked to.

I have checked my EA‑Account "Connected Accounts" page. My Steam account “Camellia” is correctly linked to this EA account.

However, there are still zero ban‑related records on my Penalty History page, yet I cannot enter Apex Legends. This appears to be a false‑positive restriction.

Please help me further look into this situation. Thank you very much.

It's odd that nothing is showing up if this is the right account and you haven't raised any appeals yet. To me that implies that you must somehow be looking at the wrong account after all, because bans should show up there.

Could you try reaching out to live support to see if they can take a look? We can't look into accounts ourselves here on the forums, but if nothing else they should be able to see the ban, and maybe they can help you raise a ticket.

Hey, i have the same issue, may i ask what did you do to lifted up the ban, my penalty history says nothing and i keep getting kicked out from the game saying the game client account is banned. Thanks

If you're having issues with an empty penalty history, you can always reach out to terms of service using the webform in this article. If you play on a different platform than the EA app, I'd double check to make sure that you're linked to the EA account you're checking, just to make sure that you raise a ticket on the right account.
