fps dropped so hard and become unplayable after the latest update

Since the latest update, Apex Legends has become completely unplayable on my PC
even in the Firing Range, Bots, movement, everything feels extremely laggy and slow.

Before the update, the game ran fine with a mix of low, medium, and even some high settings. Now, even after setting everything to the lowest settings, the FPS drops badly and the game stutters constantly.

I haven't changed anything on my system — this only started after the update. Please look into this, it's really frustrating.
