friend list shows no friends

okay you guys need to do something about this or idk what

my friends list is showing up 0

my friends can’t see me and i can’t see them but they can see everyone else, i linked my steam to it i cant see my steam friends and nothing is working.. ive done all your “basic” and “advanced” steps. they dont work, your ea app wont show when we linked the steam accounts to the ea, i linked it at least 5 times and it still wont show up in the ea app, and this is not the first time this happened, last time this happened it took around 24 hours for me to be able to see my friend list, sometimes it works after a restart sometimes it doesn’t, and this is one of those times i’m getting so tired of this EA

  • @onebotcheek Sadly, friends lists aren't cross-platformed. You would have to add them again through the Steam account, (also the "link Steam account" in-game through the EA App doesn't seem to work anymore, so that's also a shame).

What this mean is that the EA App, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and the Switch all have their own friends list. (Example: If you added someone as your friend in-game on Xbox, they won't be on your in-game friends list on any other platform).

I wish the game was like Fortnite, where your username is your EA account's name, (for reasons like searching for friends and reporting other players), and your friends list was synced across every platform account where no matter where you play, your friends can still invite you to play.

ugh okay tho thanks for that info, but either way i still can’t see my friend list on EA itself, that’s the whole reason I connected to steam to see if that’s gonna work,

all my game friends are on EA, but when i enter the game none of my EA friends are showing up, I am entering through the EA app, it’s showing my friends but in the EA app, but it doesn’t show them online, and when i enter the game it says “0 friends” friends are there in the app but not in the game, and they can’t see me online even tho im online, so idk

@onebotcheek So while playing through the EA App, your EA App friends are only showing up in the EA App, but not in-game when launched through the EA App?

That would be a bug then as your friends should show up on the platform they're friended on. Although, I think the friends list might be bugged in general as some players are seeing themselves as a friend or are seeing the same friend more than once.
