Friends not showing up

Been trying for like 3 days and friends are not showing up they can’t invite me and I can’t invite them. When I search them it says they are my friend and I can remove them as a friend. Is apex aware of this issue? Is anything being done?

    Weirdly enough my friend can join my private lobby but still can't invite to just plat normally. Been trying for hours and just been trying to slip into the same match together so we can probably do the last squad invite
