Party Chat works fine. Game Chat not working. When I am in a game but NOT in a party, the Speaker Icon next to my name appears at all times as if I am logged into Party Chat Mode. I am not. I am unable to hear Game Chat from other players. Is there a known issue or some other issue causing this? I have checked and double and triple checked my settings and even updated the Firmware for my Turtle Beach 600 Wireless Headset. Nothing works. Help! Thank you!

Hi,I just wanted to point out that this is happening to me, using a steel series arctic headset on Xbox One. This started right after downloading the season 6 patch. I have cleared alternate Mac addresses, checked my nat settings, tried different controllers to plug the headset into. Tried everything I can think of. The headset works in other games and in Xbox party. The in game chat for apex is the only thing that doesn’t work.

Hello there! Since the start of apex legends season 6, my gamechat has stopped working effectively. I can hear fellow team mates perfectly fine however, my mic audio can't seem to be detected. The symbol for mic does pop up when i plug it in but it doesn't move when i speak! I tried getting my friend to see if he could hear audio from me and he said he couldn't. One thing to note is that xbox party chat works perfectly fine: it is specially the apex gamechat that has an issue. So far I have tried; 1. Trying new controllers/headsets/TV2. Changing MAC address/Ports/IP 3. Using party chat and entering through gamechat4. Switching broadband5. Disconnecting then reconnecting my mic 6. Checking my audio settings on apex/switching on and off pretty much every audio related button.7. Resetting my apex legend settings to default 8. Reinstalling the game9. Soft/hard resetting my xbox 10. Checking my xbox account settings and switching them on/off too 11. Crying Honestly, after reading countless of posts; this seems to be an ongoing problem that many people are affected with. Please find us a solution! Being unable to communicated is extremely frustrating considering the nature of this game. Thank you!

It looks like the Turtle Beach 600 does have a separate volume control for voice chat. Have you tried cranking up the volume on the chat audio controls to see if the sound starts coming through again? /Kent

I've also been dealing with this issue oh, I bought my turtle Beach stealth 600 Alex Jones about a month ago and since the day I bought them at the exact same issue. I play on ps4 and have contacted turtle beach and checked all my settings.

No not at all. I've even contacting turtle beach and they literally told me everything with my headphones are fine and that I should contact the Apex Legends author to see if there is something in the code that is wrong. @EA_Kent

Is there any way I could get a response from a Community Manager on this? The issue is currently ongoing and I just want to know that it will be addressed. I love this game but it is very hard to play without being able to communicate. A “we are looking into it” would go a long way. Thanks.

Same issue stealth 600 works in Party works in other games just Battlefield 4 every time I speak everyone else's chat icon disappears very frustrating been through Microsoft technical support ea tech support and turtle beach support
