Game just freezes at boot-up and after every match EA APP PC.

It's possible that some store assets might be bugged, try deleting the assets folder in this directory: %userprofile%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex

Once you start the game, it'll redownload these assets and it should hopefully resolve the issue.

it didn't help me at all. still the same problem. I found that if I leave it, it will unfreeze after one minute. then i get always error and game will start but... when i start match everything is fine and after every match i have same problem like when i start game. after match 1 minute freeze + eror and everything is again fine... this happens after every match and when i start the game. this is happening after today's mini update. yesterday, after the big update, everything was fine. today after the mini update there is this problem.

@XHelperZ  even a complete reinstall didn't help me. (reinstal with revo uninstaller). can u send my report to devs? or to technicians?

From what I'm seeing in the video it seems like it perfectly mimics the behaviour when there are corrupted store/game assets.

Could you try moving all the folders in this directory to somewhere else: %userprofile%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex

Keybinds and other settings are also stored in those folders, hence why you'll temporarily need to move them if you want to keep those settings backed up.

Play a few games after doing so and see if it persists.

Repairing the game via the game launcher or reinstalling  the game won't touch the files in the previously mentioned directory, hence why you have to move or delete them manually from that directory.

You are not alone. I have the same issue. The game freezes on start and after each match is completed

I got this problem too. Tried all methods described here, but it didn't help. So tried fixing it myself.
Firstly I updated my graphics card driver it still done no effect, so I started closing applications that were working on the background. Closed Hamachi, Remotr and Wallpaper Engine. Then started the game and it's booted normally.

I believe some background working programs can interfere with the game. I don't know what program was in my case, because now game starts normaly even if theese programs are opened.

Yes, I had same problem as @BananqtZ had. Game froze for a couple minutes after startup or after every match. Also since the previous season I had to wait a couple minutes for shaders to load every time I started up the game. All these problems disappeared after I closed the program named "Remoter"(Problem came back after I restarted my computer, so I found exactly what program made apex to freeze for me).
