Hi! Your issue is not exactly the same as mine, but I recently had an Easy Anti-Cheat / Epic Online Services problem with Apex Legends and managed to fix it.

Since you already reinstalled EAC, I wanted to mention the exact way I did it, because simply running the installer again did not fix my issue.

What I did:

1. **Completely delete the EasyAntiCheat folder** from the Apex Legends installation directory.

2. After deleting it, use your game launcher’s **Verify / Repair game files** option so it downloads a completely fresh copy of Easy Anti-Cheat.

* In my case, I was using Steam, so I used **Verify integrity of game files**.

* If you are using another launcher, use its equivalent file verification or repair option.

3. Press `Win + R`, type `services.msc`, and open Windows Services.

4. Find **Epic Online Services** and check its Startup type.

I changed mine to **Automatic**.

5. I also ran the following commands in Command Prompt as Administrator:

`sfc /scannow`

`DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth`

6. I checked whether any old ASUS drivers such as `CmUpx.sys`, `AsUpIO.sys`, or `AsIO.sys` were still present in Windows, since old low-level drivers can sometimes conflict with EAC. None of them were present on my system, but it may still be worth checking if you have or previously had ASUS software installed.

7. After finishing everything, I restarted the PC.

After doing these steps, the Easy Anti-Cheat window finally opened normally and Apex Legends started successfully for me.

Your case may have a different cause because both Fortnite and Apex are making the entire PC go to a black screen, so I cannot guarantee this will fix it. But if your previous EAC reinstall did not involve completely deleting the EAC files first, I think the fresh reinstall method and checking Epic Online Services are worth trying.

If it still happens, I would also check Windows Event Viewer immediately after the crash to see whether it records an EAC, driver, GPU, or system error.
