I spent the last hour trying to reach out to ea help but it is impossible
Hi EA Help, I play Apex Legends on PS4. My old account was LAS017, level 160. When I opened Apex, it forced me to make a new account called Bigpoups using my PSN email — now my real progress is gone...

Bigpoups It sounds like you may be using a different EA and/or PlayStation Account to play the game, (or had unlinked your PlayStation account from your EA Account).
A few things to note:- Your Apex progress and data is stored on your EA Account, (and not on your PlayStation account), which means that while you can unlink your PlayStation account and then link it to a new EA Account, it won't transfer any of your Apex progress and data over to the new EA Account.
- Each EA Account can only be linked to one platform account of each type in its lifetime, (meaning that no other PlayStation Account may be used with your EA Account, as the first PlayStation Account that was linked to it had created a lifetime link to your EA Account).
- Unlinking and relinking platform accounts does come with the risk of potentially losing Apex progress and data, (which if anything was lost due to unlinking, it sadly cannot be restored if relinking your accounts didn't bring back the missing Apex progress and data).
What you can try:
- Check to make sure you are using the correct PlayStation Account, and that the same PlayStation account is linked to the correct EA Account that holds your missing Apex progress and data.
- If you have the correct EA Account, but your PlayStation Account was unlinked, try relinking it to the correct EA Account, (but remember that this might not restore some, (or all), your missing Apex progress and data.
- If you have the correct EA Account, but your PlayStation Account was linked to another EA Account, try unlinking your PlayStation Account from the second EA Account, and then relinking it back to the first EA Account, (again, this might not restore some, (or all), your missing Apex progress and data.
You can also sign into your EA Account here and can check your linked platform accounts here.
- You are able to sign into your EA Account using your linked Google, Facebook, and/or platform accounts, (except for Nintendo), but if you are unable to sign into the correct EA Account using any of these sign in methods, you would need to contact EA Support for help with getting back into the correct EA Account.
