i unlinked my xbox account from my ea account

i went into the ea app and unlinked my xbox account. i opened apex legends on the xbox series s and linked my account to a new email thats my ea account now. and now when i log into apex legends on the xbox the legends tab is not selectable and only gibby is playable and the top right corner showing coins is strobbing like it did when the heirloom glitch was happening.

i uninstalled the apex legends game from the xbox series s and reinstalled it that did not fix it, i rebooted that did not fix i played a game as gibby though.

  • i remember when i was on the psn account i had to have my apex legends account email be the same as my psn account email. so i changed my microsoft account email to the same email then the microsoft account pop up said it would take a few business days for the changes to be made everywhere so i will wait for a few days and the game should be fixed on the xbox series s. if not in a few days i will come back here and tell you.

  • i contacted ea. they sent me several emails over the past few days then today they said am i ok is the problem fixed? no its not fixed they said to say so in my ea help case.

    so i updated my case telling ea help no help was received.

    its broken the game is in shambles over here its apex legends armageddon for me am i the canary in the coal mine i wonder? like the bible parable of the pretty building which inside is a graveyard. it will be known for certain to all soon enough you will know them by their fruits.

    after many weeks ea help has still not resolved my issue of not being able to see my coins in the top right corner or open the legends tab or open the store tab. on my xbox series s.

    i ask for help from somebody here. please look into this for me.

  • i got a reply by email saying to go to live chat in ea help but there is no chat option only email. please help me so i can see my store tab and legends tab again in xbox series s?

    If you need to speak with one of the chat support advisers, this got me to live chat:

    You can contact EA live support at

    Then to speak with a chat adviser choose the appropiate options:

    Game eg Apex

    Platform eg Xbox1

    Topic eg Manage my account

    Issue eg manage payment details

    Recommended support option will be email or live chat at the bottom of the page.

    Then you can choose to begin a live chat.
    There may be some waiting time.

    I hope this gets your problem sorted out.
