Are you using a Linux system?
Please note SteamDeck was never supported by Apex even though people were using it to play/exploit the game and cheat.
SteamDeck has been blocked. I forget when this actually occurred but must have been towards the end of 2024/beginning of 2025.
If you are trying to launch the game via SteamDeck then this could be why it will not work.
No, I am just launching it straight from steam, the steamdeck isn't even plugged in and hasn't been for awhile. Is there a system that's connected to it even though it isn't plugged in? I can look for it and try to remove it :)
It was only used for streaming, like a soundboard. Otherwise that was it, but it doesn't have a use rn anyways.
