Launch Error – Easy Anti-Cheat Not Installed
I've been unable to launch the game for about a week now.
Every time I try to start it, I get an error saying "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed," even though EA AntiCheat is already installed on my PC.
I've already tried reinstalling EA AntiCheat, verifying the game files, and a few other troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked so far.
Has anyone experienced this before or found a solution? I'd really appreciate any help.

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue.
If you haven't already, could you try the following troubleshooting steps?
- Verify your game files:
- EA app: Library → Click the three dots on Apex Legends → Repair
- Steam: Library → Right-click Apex Legends → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files
- Reinstall EA AntiCheat manually:
- Navigate to your Apex Legends installation folder.
- Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
- Run the setup as Administrator.
- Uninstall EA AntiCheat, then install it again.
- Repair EA AntiCheat:
- Follow the same steps above, but choose Repair Service instead of uninstalling.
- Run the game (or the EA app) as Administrator.
- Add the game to your antivirus/Windows Security exclusions:
- Open Windows Security.
- Go to Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions.
- Add exclusions for the EA app installation folder and your Apex Legends game folder.
- Restart your PC.
