Missing Content from an Unlinking Incident
I had recently got in touch with EA's help, because I had lost all my in game content on my account where I had no clue why. I got back on one day and I had all my stats, but they refunded every Legend Token and Apex Pack I could get at my current level. I did not get any refund for the Apex Coins I have got over the course of playing the game.
I found out by the support that my account was missing content because of a unlinking. The only time I ever messed with the linking is when I went from ps4 to ps5, but I never linked it to another platform. When I asked the advisor if there was anyway to get my stuff back they never answered back. I ended up doing another case and trying here also to get a clear answer.
Also (I may be wrong.) I have read that the only time you lose progress is when you link it to a different platform. Like xbox to pc.

Typically an unlink will result in that progress and content being lost, regardless of whether you're staying on the same platform.
The only way to restore that content would be to re-link the original account as outlined here.
That is not something we're able to review on the forums, but do feel free to reach back out to support if you run into any issues getting the original account re-linked.
