    FlavaDave22​ Sorry to hear what had happened, but as you may had guessed, bans cannot be handled here on the forums, (which you did the right thing by contacting the EA TOS Team first).

    It is recommended to not share devices, but if you have to, (such as a family console), you should either be logged out of your accounts or have a password set up to block unauthorized access to prevent this sort of thing from happening.

    In the end, you are the one responsible for your account, so there is a chance that the ban won't be overturned since you had allowed someone else to use your PC.

Just to follow up on at what Midnight9746​ mentioned. 

Ohhhh man, not good. (B.L.U.F. ) Bottom line up front: 

  1. Letting your roommate use your account was not a good idea and is = to sharing accounts which is against the ToS.
  2. Your account is your responsibility, if others use it and do something wrong and or get it banned that is on you. 

With those two things in mind, however sad and or unfair it sounds I do not think (and this is just IMHO) that the ToS team will lift the ban. You gave them access to your account.  You really need to have a talk with your roommate about this.

This is why account security is so important.

When my account was banned, I truly thought it was a false ban. I appealed right away, thinking there had been some kind of mistake. Later on, my roommate finally came clean and admitted he was the one who cheated on my account. I was furious and completely blindsided."
