I lost a lot of legends I used to have

I have started playing apex from release on xbox only. I have undownloaded and redownloaded it multiple times. This time I redownload it today and for some reason I have lot almost all legends I used to have. I have 54 days of played hours and somehow I dont have legends, their badges or banners, I lost levels and I wasnt given legend tokens back either. I also think i lost some of those too becasue I am really low on them. How do I get them back? I have only ever had one apex/EA account

    Hey RogueEmporer243​,

    While I see you mention only ever having one EA or Apex account, if you've been playing on Xbox this entire time there's definitely another account out there as well.

    The account you're posting with had only accessed Apex on PS4 and PC in the past, so if you've ever played on Xbox before, it was on a different EA account. Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This is why you wouldn't be seeing the progress you're expecting.

    Progress cannot be transferred across EA accounts, so the only way to try restoring access to the progress you're missing would be to re-link your Xbox account back to whichever other EA account was used in the past. We aren't able to guarantee it would restore all progress due to how the unlinking system works, but that will be the best way to try and restore any missing progress from what you remember.

    We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if something was linked or unlinked incorrectly it may be worth contacting support to see if the original platform can be re-linked.

    I must have changed EA accounts and forgot. I don't remeber the other account it was on or if I could even get it back. I don't really understand it because it says I had this account since 2015 and i must've put my apex stuff under a different email or something. The PS4 account I thought was on a different account so that why I was confused on the data not being correct. It just sucks because I put so much time into this game.

  • I have the exact same issue except that i finally manage to retrieve the good EA account who was on my xbox but now i need to wait 6months to unlink my steam account on the bad account and EA support (i mean bot) can't do nothing about it lol.

    So now i have to play 6 months on a new apex account from 0 and link my account in 6 months ( so basically i won't spend a penny in the game for 6m) if i don't stop playing before that.

    Nah really i'm astonished about all that.

    Hey Kramgar20144​,

    I'm not certain if you were describing your chat with an actual advisor, or are just referring to the actual EA Help bot - which cannot make any account changes for you.

    Keep in mind that if you're trying to link other platforms to get your content in the same place, your progress is stored on the EA account level and will not transfer by linking the platform to another account - you'd simply be able to access whatever progress is already on that particular EA account.

    If you had linked or unlinked the wrong account, the actual support team may be able to assist, depending on the account status. It would be worth opening a case directly here rather than consulting with the EA Help bot, if that's what was done. If you've spoken with an actual advisor they'll have had the chance to see whether that earlier re-link is possible, but I did want to be sure you were at least able to get this looked at by support and not just the help bot.

    Yeah that is exactly what have done and everytime i tried to reopen the case i got again the live chat with an AI that tell me it's not possible to bypass the 6 months delay and close the case after that.

    Gotcha Kramgar20144​, thanks for clarifying. To be clear, with the live chat you were not speaking with AI, you were speaking with actual advisors. Sorry to hear they weren't able to help out here.

    It's possible in some specific situations, but there are technical and account limitations that prevent it in others. If they weren't able to do so here, I'm afraid it would require waiting out that cooldown.
