Overall connection issues on PS5 with Apex
I have been having constant high ping, latency, and connection issues on Apex Legends on my PS5. I have already tried reinstalling the game, clearing cache, rebuilding the PS5 database, setting a static IP, opening ports, and even had Verizon replace my router, but nothing has fixed it.
I am sometimes able to load into a lobby and play, but after matches, I often get kicked from my party, have to restart the game, and repeatedly try different servers just to get back in. I also frequently get the error: “Unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your internet connection and try again,” even though my PS5 stays connected to the internet.
I have over 1,750 hours in Apex, so this has been really frustrating. I would appreciate any help or guidance on what could be causing this.
