I can't play Apex Legends with my friends after the new anti-cheat update. When I send an invite and they accept it, they don't join the lobby, and I can't join their lobbies either. I'm running the game through Steam, while my friends are using the EA App. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I ran the update on my PC, game kept telling me the client wasn't running or system failed anti cheat.
Disabled HUDSight and the game started. I can't join any game mode as the system keeps saying "Party not ready". I unchecked the "fill" box and still have the same issue.
I ran a repair on the game and on Javelin with no luck. Rebooted system twice and did another repair and am still getting "Party Not Ready" in all game modes.

Today, less than an hour ago I updated Apex with the new Javelin update. Now when I go into the game I get and Error saying Anti cheat is not running about 20% of time I had this error a few times in the past and it always went away when I restarted the game... Then if I rerun the game and get no errors I'm "not even in lobby", my character pic is not even shown in the top left where it should be and when click ready it say "party not ready" bottom left.. And also since the start of the split shaders are compiling almost every time when I run the game. I'm on EAapp, Win10 and Drivers are latest from Nvidia.
So is there a quick solution or update just broke Apex or something because I see streamers playing normally... I tried clearing ea app cache, file verification, pc restart, logout/login...

I have the same issue and its been throwing me off for the past hour. I've been thinking I was falsely banned, but glad I just came across this post. I noticed other people are fine, like streamers playing the game, but no idea why I cannot load the game correctly.
Ive done all the steps too as well as repairing the game and clearing cache data. This sucks and hope theres a solution soon
It says that i cant load into a match with the reason being that a party member isnt ready. Even though im alone in the lobby. I think it may be the new anti cheat or something. I had some problems with today. The anti cheat failed constantly. It took me while just to get into the lobby..

After the latest update, I can't start matchmaking in Apex Legends in any game mode.
The game keeps showing the "Party Not Ready" message, even though I am playing solo and I am not in a party with anyone.
I have tried different game modes, but matchmaking does not start in any of them. This issue started immediately after the latest update.
I have already restarted the game, but the problem persists.

Very annoying, nothing seems to solve it.
I’m having the same issues reported here, and I’m tired of dealing with errors instead of playing the game. This is unacceptable. Players shouldn’t have to keep searching for workarounds just to play.
EA and Respawn, fix these problems and give us a clear update. We need a working game and actual answers.
