I heard from other players that this issue might relate to the connections of peripherals, including the network device. This issue may also relate to the stall of the operating system like Windows 11. As Apex starts, the CPU is always 100% and GPU 80~90% occupation. The CPU bound is an old problem of Apex. I hope EA could at least tell players the real possible reasons for this in public.

Same issue for me with the UCMD error. Tried putting all settings to low/disabled. Tried downgrading my NVidia driver. Nothing is working.

Unfortunately, no. Last time I had this issue was around the time I made this post back in S13. At the time, I believe reinstalling nvidia/drivers fixed the issue for me. It has unfortunately returned and I have rinsed/repeated all troubleshooting steps listed to no avail. Reinstalling nvidia did not work this time.
You can try launching command prompt and entering the command "ping google.com" which will tell you if your network is encountering any packet loss, and then type the command "ipconfig /flushdns" to clear dns.
Even though thats the issue apex is listing, I've detected 0 packet loss when doing this, and have no network issues in other games (The Finals, BF 2042, MW2 all launched through steam). I'm up in arms on what to do next. Was returning to this thread in hopes a fix had been found or a community manager addressing the issue. Sorry to see you and I, along with many others still encountering this.
Respawn, pls fix!!!
