Hi Yo-Hohohho,
Thanks for clarifying.
You’re correct that the guide states rewards, points, and items remain on the EA Account the platform account was originally linked to. However, if the old EA Account already appeared fresh before you unlinked the Xbox account, then we can’t confirm from the forums that it was actually the EA Account containing your original Apex progress.
The wording in the guide means that progress and content do not move with the Xbox account when it is linked to a different EA Account. It does not necessarily confirm which EA Account originally held the missing progress.
At this point, the account-linking history would need to be reviewed by EA Support to determine whether the Xbox account was previously connected to another EA Account:
Unlink from an EA Account
Please scroll to the bottom of the guide and select Contact us. When contacting the support team, explain that:
- Your Xbox account had established Apex progress before Cross Progression.
- The EA Account you believed was the original account already appeared fresh before the unlink.
- The progress is missing from both the old and current EA Accounts.
- You need help identifying the EA Account that originally held the Xbox progress.
Please avoid making any further linking changes while this is being reviewed, as the progress won’t transfer between EA Accounts. Unfortunately, we can’t view historical account links or restore the progress from the forums.
I hope the support team can help identify where the original Xbox progress was stored and provide clearer next steps.
