Proton/wine support

Not sure how hard it would be, but would love to see some support for Proton/Wine for Linux support. Seems like the only issue is the anti-cheat. 
What is the process like to get something like this functional? With the mobile release it seems closer to a day when Linux players can participate although I understand there's still a big difference between mobile OS and Desktop OS.

    @kaalialalala The possibility is weak. EAC claims that they will never support any VM. and although wine is not a VM, it still lacks the important kernel modules to fullfill what EAC needed. this is not an apex issue and maybe posting this to EAC?

    EAC supports Proton/SteamDeck now.


    Apex developers have to update the EAC/EOS SDK and enable Proton support in the Epic Online Services Developer Portal.
