PS4 Controller issues on Apex

Any time I'm playing Apex at random points in the game my character will be uncontrollable. They will spin uncontrollably, won't stop running, and all controls stop working for brief period of time. I've tried different controller, resetting the controller, resetting the system all to no avail. Anyone else having this issue?

    Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying that for me!

    Have you checked out the controller dead zone settings in Apex Legends to see if that helps at all?

    @noahcavman 

    That sounds like the controller driver might be crashing. Are you using any third party software for your controller, such as DS4Windows?

    (Thank you for the response) I am not using any third party controller stuff, and I went to see if my controller driver was up to date and it was. I could always uninstall and reinstall it if that seems to be a way, but are there any other possibilities for what it could be? (All of my settings in game are normal, and I’m going to try a different controller) I just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

    Did you find a fix for this issue? The left turn is still happening to me & I have no stick drift.
