Hey @H4mm3r_H34D47,

As long as you're logging into the same EA Account on both launchers, that progress should be kept across the Origin/EA Desktop/Steam platforms.

The main reason this may be lost would be if you've recently unlinked that Steam account from your EA Account.

If that was unlinked at all, you would just need to re-link the Steam account to recover that progress.

If you're running into any other issues after that point I would definitely reach out to an advisor directly so they can take a closer look at the account you're logging into currently.

    I was using origin and the suggestion about new EA launcher came, I tried using that for a while and one day all of my data was gone. Right now I am running on steam and the steam account is still linked to EA account. 

    I have tried everything, still all of my data are lost (all progress, all heirlooms, all money paid to EA over  2 years are gone.), so please help me out.

    If you're still running into any other issues you will need to reach out to an advisor directly so they can take a closer look at the account. I'm afraid that's not something we can do via the forums as they'll need to verify some additional account information to discuss specifics with you.

  • Good morning, I am writing to you because I had a problem connecting EA with my PS4 account. When I plugged it in, I lost all my progress in the Apex game. I lost my coins, the badges that the game gives you, the skins and the characters that I bought with my money. Basically I lost everything, the weirdest thing is that I didn't level down. What happened was that I did not know that I had another account with EA and then I created another account, thinking that I did not have another. When I was going to connect my ps4 account to EA, I got that I couldn't because I was connected to another account. I started to look and saw that it was connected to my second email ([edit: email address removed]). But it was strange to me that I was connected with that email, because the email that I had in my Ps4 account is my first email ([edit: email address removed]). I thought that when I created a new account that has the same email as the ps4 account. Well, everything that i got was going to go to my first email and as I see it was not the case. What happened was that everything that I had previously mentioned was gone ... I thought about reconnecting it with my second email, to see if everything I lost, I will have it back. But it came out that I can't unlinked my ps4 account until 4/5/2022. I really ask you to help me with this problem, I started playing this game since it came out and losing all that like nothing is hard. See if there is a way to get back everything I had. Because truly one gives time to these games, and we also put money in it for one's liking. But in truth, losing everything as if nothing is very difficult to process. I do not know if you have the Data of all this to see if it is possible to recover my things. I ask that you can contact me, I am from Puerto Rico and if you can send me a number to call you, I will thank you a lot.

    Hey @brandonryes,

    Sorry to hear this has caused some concern for you! 

    As you've figured out, reconnecting your PSN account to the original EA Account where that content was first earned is what you would need to do in order to get everything restored.

    That's not something we're able to assist with via the forums, so you would just need to reach out to an advisor so they can take a look back over the account with you. 

  • The thing is I need to wait to 4/5/2022 to recconect my psn to my original Account

  • @EA_Mako When i log on i cant change my legends and i have -999 everything and i have spent a lot of money on apex and its heartbreaking that i lost everything what do i do

    Sorry to hear that's affecting you. That is a more recent situation affecting a number of players that we're currently investigating.

    We don't currently have a workaround but we'll provide any updates as we get them, thanks for hanging in there while we're taking a look at this.

    Nah, I never got my stuff back, had to play from rank 0 and lost all the skins, heirloom, everything. And I have been playing alex since it’s launch.

    You can’t do anything, I tried to contact their admin and I they looked into it for over a month, they didn’t help me. So, I stopped spending money on apex. Just play the game and don’t spend anything on it.

    I just had the same issue. I linked my PSN and prime gaming to my EA account. When claiming apex reward. Logged back into my game and all my characters were locked, battle pass was taken away. The skins I had on all my characters stayed but they are all now locked. This is really annoying. Especially since I just got heirloom shards. Please someone help!!!

  • i lost all my data and i spent money on the game it happened when i decided to log on apex after a long time and logged into the origins and it resetted

    Hey @5678327,

    It looks like this account has only had Apex added within the past few days, so if you'd previously played it seems likely that was on another account entirely, or the account it was on has been unlinked.

    If you have any other accounts you may have used in the past, it may be worth logging in there to check and see if those have the progress you were expecting to see here.

    Otherwise, if you're unable to re-link the original account or run into trouble tracking down or accessing the account, please contact support directly so they can check into this further with you.

    As they'll need to verify some other information about the account, that's not something we can do on a public forum. If you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.

    If you've recently re-linked your accounts this can happen. If you still have access to the original account, you can try re-linking the account as outlined here:

     
    If you're running into trouble with that aspect, you can reach out to support for assistance getting the correct accounts linked back up.
     
    Aside from that however, if this is still an issue afterwards please keep an eye on the thread here for more updates as we have them. The initial thread you've posted in was for an older, separate issue, so I'm locking it down to make sure any new posts are in the current ongoing thread.
