@JRDDON So far i don't hate this rotation, because for now i like all maps. But i really agree with the statement that people should have the option to play what they want, especially those who only play maybe 1 hour a day. If they are forced to play on the map they hate in that 1 hour they will just play something else very soon. Unfortunatly Respawn is quickly becoming infamous for forcing players to play the game like THEY want and only that way without giving other options. That's why there won't be a solo mode becuz they see it purely as a teambased game. That's also why they made the map choices in the passed and imagine will keep doing so in the future. Sometimes they listen to feedback, for example 'S4 world's edge' i enjoy now while 'S3 world's edge' i hated because of the sniper/camp layout and loot. So they fixed all that, but unfortunatly we had to wait a whole season for that and personally i just stopped playing for the remainder of it. I'm sure they have good reasons to do what they do, when they mention que times and server loads. But i think server load won't be a problem anymore if a lot of players start playing other games because they are getting enraged by the choices of the developers. Especially with the new patch crashing 25% of your games.

    There may be a simple solution to this. Have duos and trios rotate the maps separately.

    I.e. when duos is on World's edge, Trios is on Kings Canyon, and vice versa.

    This way they don't fragment the player base and queues anymore than it is (assuming this is the reason for not allowing selection of maps) and players still have a choice. 

    Of course this doesn't solve the case for 3 friends, but it would solve at least for solo / 2 friends without changing too much which is a good thing 

    Thoughts?

    RSArussian .. Not a bad idea to be fair , I still reckon it would be a better choice to be able to just choose what map you want to play , even hardcore kings canyon fans love worlds edge so why not just make it a permanent choice . Dont be scared people will only play 1 map because at this rate you just loose loads of people because of this situation anyway . Or atleast put the rotation on every 6 hours pr 12 hours it changes , not every hour and half . That's the minimum if they wont change it to a permanent choice.  In my opinion anyway

    @ARDA_Rogerjak Yeah possibly. I'm not sure that without the choice it'll help. Maybe a combo, duos trios and ranked on different maps, and every 30 minutes or 45 minutes the map wheel shifts. This was you can always choose what map to play on, or worst case (as three friends) you have a choice of two.

    You could make it that Ranked plays on the map the trios is not. Then you have a way for players to always choose the map they want, it might just ranked at that time, or not. Players who only play ranked get varied ranked play, but also players who don't usually play ranked will be encouraged to since the map they want is on it

    @JRDDON Yeah it's one of those cases where everyone said "bring back kings canyon" but the practicality of it is actually harder I suppose. Including duos, trios and 3 map choices fragments the player base a lot. Personally I love new Worlds Edge as the permanent map, and am happy with events on other maps.

    Also, I can imagine respawn wouldn't want to rule out the possibility of adding new maps in the future, allowing free selection would make it tougher for them going forward.

    Anyway, I see they have a lot of problems to try solve with bringing multiple maps in, I just think they chose the worst solution overall. Really hope they come up with a better system
