Hey, I have had the same issue for about 2 weeks now as well. I am also in the middle east if that helps.

I tried to change my dns to the google one as other forum posts recommended but to no avial also tried to uninstall and reinstall. As the other guy mentioned im also in the middle east so maybe its only a problem here ? 2 of my friends that live in the same area as me are also having the same issue. I'm not sure if its just an issue in the middle east though since I've seen a lot of tickets on here explaining the same problem.

Same issue here. We cannot ready up nor can we start a game, can you please look into this issue in the middle east?? Or the main lobby also keep matchmaking / party members preprocessing for hours and dose not let you into any server.
So many people are facing this issue. However, it seems that we are getting ignored and no one wants to help us.
I made a detailed post to describe the issue we are having with all the possible solutions that I tried but I didn't get any response from anyone.@EA_QueenBee i would appreciate a reply this problem is still recurring

Hey everyone,
I'm going to post a little template here if y'all could fill it out, just so I can get a better idea of what the problem is/could be:
- What platform do you play on?
- What region do you play on?
- How long have you had this issue (roughly)?
- What troubleshooting have you already tried (if any)?
We'll hopefully have a better idea of what exactly we're dealing with afterwards.

Sorry for the annoyance this is causing you.
Is there more information you could provide, to help us investigate this?
Is this now seen when trying to play every match/ every time you connect to Lobby?
Do you ever get a chance to connect to a game mode, and you stop just seeing "player" as your username?
If you join up with friends who can play normally, are you able to queue up properly?

Playing PC vvia EA App on Windows 10
Mostly playing on London and Frankfurt severs 1 and 2 from South Africa
This issue started at the beginning of Season 15 and is still present after the updates.

I cannot queue up with my friends.
I see “player” as my username.
I have this problem for month.
I try every thing i can from port forward, uninstall the game, changing my dns, rest my router, rest my ps5, clear cache.i try anything i can.
And i still have same issue. - @ThomasMc2595 1.yes it every time i connect to the lobby
2.yes im usually able to get into a game a day if i tried long enough
3.whenever the "player" disappears and my name comes up i cant ready up for any game
4.i haven't been able to play with friends for months now
thanks. I’m on xbox and I have the same problem it doesn’t show that I’m readied up and I can’t load into a game and you pls tell me how to fix this or something the game is not playable for me at the moment.
I have been having this issue for 3 - 4 weeks now. Some similarities I've observed between people that are facing this issue so far are the following:
- They are playing on console
- They are playing on servers that are not close to them (Middle East playing on frankfurt or Belgium, etc.)
The bugs that prevent me from playing happen both in the loading screen and in the lobby.
Loading screen:
Sometimes, when I open my application and enter the loading screen, I cannot pull up the server list to switch my servers. On the bottom left, where it is meant to display my server, it says, "Data center downloading... 0", and does not allow me to open the server list. The other glitch I have in the loading screen is after clicking x and trying to proceed to the lobby, I get a loading icon that then turns into "Retrieving matchmaking list". For these glitches, I usually have to restart my game a few times to get it to work.
Lobby:
In the lobby, I also face two glitches that prevent me from playing. The first one, as described by the other people in this forum, is where my username is not displayed and instead it just says "player" with no level icon. When I try to ready up, it says "party not ready" where it usually tells you how many people in que or "matchmaking". While my username is "player", I cannot join other people, and apparently, when they join me, they can see themselves in my lobby but I cannot see them. For this specific glitch, I found a youtuber video published around a year ago that recommended disconnecting your wifi for 5 seconds while in the lobby then reconnecting it. It does solve this problem for me, and I am able to join my friends' lobbies (although it is really buggy -- one of us loads into a game while the other remains in the lobby screen), but after a few games, while I'm in a game, my game freezes up and displays a notification on the bottom of my screen that reads, "Party Leader quit". Afterwards, I face the same issues as before.
The other glitch I have in the lobby is when my username and icon level are displayed, but I can't load into or switch gammemodes because it says I need to complete my "orientation match" first (Image attached). I have not found a solution for this glitch and have to restart my game a few times to get it to work.
(My friends that live in the same area as me also face the same issues)
Overall, in the past month, in order for me to play 30 minutes of apex (without being able to play with friends most of the times), I'd have to spend an hour troubleshooting and restarting my game. At first, I thought it was just an issue for the people in my area, like my friends and I, but it is apparent that we are not the only ones facing this problem. I hope it gets fixed soon

Does fully rebooting your Console resolve the issue in any way?
Also, as another thing to try. Could you attempt to use another source of WiFi, such as using your phone temporarily as a Hotspot?
We believe this issue may be related to your ISP(network provider) and not the game itself, but cannot confirm for sure at this time.

- @ThomasMc2595 Rebooting or restarting my console has not solved the issue. I have not tried switching to another source of wifi, so I will try that, but I am not sure why it would be an ISP problem since I have been using the same network provider since season 5 of Apex and this problem has only been occurring as of a month ago.
Rebooting or restarting my console has not solved the issue. I have try to connecting with my phone network (4G) and there is NO problem. 4G it not good for gaming. My home network (fiber) working good with everything except apex legends. (fiber) and (4G) all belong to same ISP. I don’t know what’s the problem with my fiber connection if the problem with ISP what should I ask them for?
