But start up problems are. Game won't load past splash screen on Steam but will load up fine on Origin.
- @BlackholeViper I think its a very different problem that has nothing to do with the freezes
- @Uhroboros I'm not sure, but the start up problem is also a freezing problem. Application doesn't crash and doesn't deliver an error code, it just freezes, exactly how it freezes while you're playing.
- @BlackholeViper Oh yeah its the freeze thing then, but it just happens randomly, i dont think its related to launcher
OK, so just found this solution.
- @Uhroboros Randomly? No, every single start up. For me the game is unplayable on steam as it freezes on every single launch of the game. I've had to download it on the EA app to be able to play the new season.

For people who are on Steam and have the game crashing/freezing on start-up!!
I would suggest you try this as the following has fixed my freezing issue and allowed me to finally launch the game for the first time since the update dropped!
Navigate to: C:\Users\[NAME]\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
Delete: "settings.cfg" or delete the whole "local" folder.- @BlackholeViper Oh damn, i dont have that
