Hey there,
Are either of you overclocking any of your hardware? If so, can you try reverting it back to the factory clock speed to test and see if that makes any difference at all?

- Hi!
I just solved this problem after weeks of crashes in Apex with the dxgi device hung error.
In my case the reason was that the OriginClientService.exe was not allowed through the firewall. I got help from the EA support and an article on the specific solution could be found here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/
I hope this can help someone else as well. - EA_Kent4 years ago

Thanks for sharing!
- @EA_Kent Sadly the error came back after two days. I tried everything (firewall rules, reg fixes, run as administrator, repairing the game, reinstalling the game, clean boot etc. etc.)
I ended up buying a new graphic card and now it seems to work. The problem started with the update for season 11 and I only had issues with Apex Legends. All other games worked. - EA_Kent4 years ago
