OK. I found that I have an account established in 2016, but it's not linked to Steam. My current account shows that I can unbind Steam on 2026.02.03. I'll try again then. Anyway, thank you for your help and suggestions.

I had been using this Steam-registered account all along, and I never changed the association with the EA account during that period.
hey! do you mind looking into my case? I am for sure on the right account

Hey TakanashiRikkaDC,
Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.
In this case, it looks like the EA account you're posting with had not accessed Apex Legends until some point last year, so if you were playing in 2024 or before, that would have been linked to a different EA account. You would need to try using that original account to see if any missing progress is available.
We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if there's an older account you can no longer access or you're not sure which was used previously it may be worth contacting support so they can check into that with you.

I have checked the relevant information online. I will make sure not to log in to the game before the repair. Please directly fix my account. Thank you!
