Hi EA Team and fellow players,
I’m here not to ask for attention, but to ask for accountability.
My girlfriend’s Apex Legends account has been permanently banned. She wasn’t using any cheats, hacks, macros, injectors, overlays, or even any suspicious software. Hell, she wasn’t even in the game when she got banned. Apex wasn’t running. She had no background apps interfering. Her playstyle is casual, not competitive. Honestly, she’s not even that good — and I say that with love.And even though we are living in 2025, as a consumer, I wrote in “Turkish,” and they say to me, “Please write in the languages we support.” It's like a joke. :D Isn't the only thing they need to do to solve my problem to translate it?
She spent money in the game, recently unlocked an Heirloom she was genuinely excited about, and now it’s all gone. Wiped out in an instant, without explanation, without evidence, without even a chance to defend herself beyond a form response.
We appealed. Twice. The replies were sterile, automated-sounding. The exact same phrases you’ll find in every other forum post by someone who got banned unfairly.
“We thoroughly reviewed your case.”
“We confirmed the sanction is valid.”
“We cannot disclose our internal procedures.”
That’s it? That’s justice?
How can a multi-billion dollar gaming company allow an anti-cheat system to hand out punishments without showing anything to the people it’s banning? How can two full investigations not spot the obvious flaw — that she wasn’t even logged into the game when the ban was triggered?
I’ve seen EA claim that bans are not automated, that humans review every case. If that’s true, your system is either broken, or those humans are just clicking “approve” without reading. And if it’s not true, and everything is automated, then we’re being lied to directly.
We don’t expect miracles. We’re not saying “we’re special.”
But if innocent people are getting banned while they’re not even in-game, and being sent the same generic replies as actual cheaters, then your system is broken and your appeals process is a joke.
You say “play by the rules.” We did. But what happens when you don’t?
I don’t know if this will help fix her account. But I do know one thing:
You’re slowly destroying the trust of loyal players — not just the banned ones, but everyone who’s watching.
After reviewing the forum in detail, I realized that thousands of users had experienced the same situation as my girlfriend. What a pity, isn't it? You are so slow that you can't even tell who was banned unfairly and who was banned fairly. At first, I was angry, but now I laugh at your situation and feel sorry for you. As ASH said, “ Pathetic .”
