Unable to play Apex legends on Steam

Looking to get in to Apex legends however, when clicking on register after launching the game, it forces me to log in to an account that does not belong to me. I have contacted support on multiple occassions and they keep asking me to give information about the EA account. The problem I am having is I am not able to verify the account as it does not belong to me in the first place. 

I have given up trying to use the live chat since they are extremely unhelpful and have no clue what I am trying to explain to them. Is there another way to contact EA or even look to escalating the issue to someone higher up?
