Unlinked My Steam From One EA Account and Linked It to Another One

I recently Unlinked my steam account from one EA account  to another Account. But in doing so It removed my game progress from steam which is where I mainly have my hours (roughly 2,000). I was not aware that I would no longer have access to my game progress through steam and was wondering if I could get my progress back on my steam account. (I didnt realize which account i had my apex progress on.) I saw that I am not able to unlink my steam account again on this myself until may of next year. But also wasnt sure if by reconnecting with the original account if my progress would come back through steam.

Currently when I open apex through steam a brand new level 1 account was made. The new account that I launched through steam has my twitch drops and prime drops instead (meaning I just linked my prime gaming and twitch through the wrong ea account, & swapped my steam account to this new one) . I was wondering if there was a way to help me move all my progress back over to steam and I would prefer to have my game through steam if I can to be able to change my name to my handles! My current handle doesn't have the characters in it that i would like.

Would my progress (from here on out (skins, cosmetics) ) still transfer over if i have to actually wait about 6 months to play if through steam again? (and would i have to link and relink it to the original to fix it?) 

(both accounts are on pc btw)
