Cant see steam friends?

i just linked my steam account and discord to ea and i can see the discord friends online etc but i cant see the steam friendlist? why is this?

now a second guessing again why i bought on ea and not steam...

in ea app i have 2-5 people online max not even playing bf6, in discord i have 24+ 2-3 people playing bf6,  on steam i have 300+friends and 7-15 people playing, some asking if i bought it. now am doing extra steps to get connected to them...

is there a fix for this in the works? same as ea and discord tabs a steam tab would be really helpfull i really hope it rolls out fast because conection to friends makes you enjoy the game even more.

    ONLY WORKS FOR REDSEC ONLY ATM...


    Trying to solved the issue that we can see friends in EA:
    Install bf6 redsec on steam than link op you're steam account again with EA,
    now you can see you're friends in steam with you're EA account on steam but only redsec is unlocked...

    and while you"re ad it go to:
    C:\Users\"Instinct369"\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings

    and copy all the setting from you're EA to you're steam settings:
    C:\Users\"Instinct369"\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\steam

    This only works for REDSEC all the rest is locked again like in the start of the launch in EA app...
    so probably we all have phantom edition so everything unlocked on our EA account but for some reason it says in steam when i log in with my EA account all other modes are locked and i can only play REDSEC with steam.


    Launching in EA hoping i can see the steam friends at least this way but sadly still nothing...

    I have the same issue :/ Most of my friends is on the steam and I cannot play with them

    same issue and my friends on steam think that im crazy. happened on 2042 and now on 6

    Me too , cant see any steam friends. Now for fun downloaded Redsec on steam... And can see everyone Steam Discord EAapp users. Seems i learned my lesson and not to ever get a game on EA and use Steam instead...

    Same issue, can anyone else confirm that it works for them and they can see Steam Friends in game even though they have the game through EA App?  I have already tried unlinking my steam account and re-linking it, and also making my friends list public - all that enabled was manually seeing the list of friends who have also linked their EA account in the app.  Still wont' show Steam friends when in game.  If I play the steam version of redsec then it does show both steam and EA friends.
